Damn it’s a shame that people say T.I. and he wasn’t fighting but regardless I understand. It doesn’t matter how squeky clean HIP-HOP related awards are, people will still find a way to say something bad.
Truth of the matter is that some rappers have violent related music they rap about and some rappers don’t. So logically if they grew up with violence in their community and music what do you expect when you put a bunch of rappers from the same background in the same building.

2 things:
* i never said that t.i. or shawty lo themselves were in the scrap, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be held accountable for it, thanks to their issues with one another.
* if the fight never even happened – which goes back to those two’s said issues – there’d be no footage to post at all. and if you honestly think that if “we” don’t post it nobody else will, you must be out of your ever-loving minds. if anything you’d rather us – the hip-hop purveyors – post this and talk about how sad and despicable this is than, say, some white-dominated news network with anchors that wouldn’t know shit about hip-hop if it came over and shitted the entire history of it on their chests while they slept at night talking about how detrimental this music is to society and whatnot.
fact of the matter is, we all know shit like this happens and will continue to happen. but if these so-called artists get their heads out of their asses and act like civilized people in public places, perhaps none of this shit would have happened anyways. shit, lil wayne may look like he’s a confused drug addict who’s in desperate need of a nap and a shower, but at least you never see him throwing hands at the first person who calls him out.
I mean there are a lot of genre’s of music that aren’t close to the violence in some hip-hop music. So automatically they don’t have to worry about security, scuffles, safety etc.
I’m NOT saying these altercations are right but I AM saying that it should be expected if gangsta rap or hustling rap related music is the dominant version of rap music at this time.
Until non-violent related rap music becomes dominant to fans then keep expecting these altercations. It’s like a package deal.
