  5. I don’t know what to think about Kid Rock saying that ish. I agree I would’ve like to have seen Luda’s reaction but I’m guessing he didn’t care. If those were all Kid Rock’s boyz and they’re cool with him than it’s all good but he would not have been able to say that around my boyz that’s for sure.

  6. hahahaha, got nothing more to say

  7. i would have called him Tony Banks too since Banks finna leave. 50 probably gon let Yayo adopt that shit so they can still carry the name.

  8. he was on that show Runs house with a tshirt sayin “i love black people” lol.. I dont care how much he does i dont ever want to hear any white man usin that to address a black man smfh..

    FAIL!!^^^^

  12. @joey walnuts if u start givin white men a pass on the “n” word.. What happens when ur out of town and a white man calls u nigga coz hes a racist and u go at him?? He can just lie and say wel i grew up around black people i neva ment it like that..

U c how the waters begin to become muddy around white people usin it..

  13. hahahahahaha… his laugh hahahaha

  14. context…its all about context…he was referring to Carson Daly….if he said “Daly called that NIGGA Tony Banks” that would different…

  15. context.. word.

  16. yo kid rock does not get a pass. sorry. all those country ass white boys he chills with too you think they drop it the same way he does?

  17. na it aint bout context.. If u got on a bus and u heard two white men usin the n word in whateva context, are u tellin me u would feel comfortable with that?smh at certain black people who think they can give white people they like a nigga pass.. Madness

  18. WOW! And he’s republican!! Kid Rock gets NO PASS.

  19. Point blank he shouldn’t have said it. In whatever context even if there was no malicious intent behind it. It’s a respect issue.

  20. fuck that…black folks using it muddies the water. it’s weird to hear him say it but it’s far from a big fucking deal.

  21. i guess yall mad at Eminem too SMH….

  22. “?smh at certain black people who think they can give white people they like a nigga pass.. Madness”

    Madness!? THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA.

Lol, nah but for real, To the above comment, you know how many blacks that have died over that word? Countless. We took a word that was full of hate & made it our own. White people saying it is like throwing it in our faces. Like Benny B. said, it’s a matter of respect.

  23. “i guess yall mad at Eminem too SMH….”

At least he took responsibilty for his actions & aplogized.

  24. dont matter. he still says it.

  25. ^^^ Do you know that for a fact? And even if he does, at least he’s not stupid enough to do so in front of a camera.

  26. @chris are u 4real? y the fuc wouldnt we be mad at eminem sayin it? white people like u get me vex smh.. If u got a problem with respectin black people and not usin the n word, go and listen to country..

  27. cosign foolymagoolz although i dont no wtf spartaa means lol

  28. WTF how you gonna say Kid Rock doesnt get a pass.

I feel totally fine with Kid Rock sayin that shit he’s probably BEEN saying that shit for a minute and still will.

  29. its really not that serious,im black and i call my white friends ni66a’s. yall just looking to make this a big deal. the video was funny i though

  30. @ veraci0us

wow….judgemental and racist i see SMH….yeah im white but i dont say the n word. i got respect for black people but look like you aint got respect for white people cuz ya takin it out on me. the point i was tryin to make was that no one was gettin on Em for using it. i know he does cuz of who he hangs around. im the same way but i refrain from using it cuz like i said, i got respect for black people so take ya racist ass on.

  31. i hate to intrude on this meeting of the minds, but you ever think that if black people want non-blacks to stop using the n-word, shouldn’t they stop as well/1st? the whole “lead by example” ideal? or are we still on some “this is my property,” no girls allowed type shit?

    just my thoughts.

  32. word meka

  33. @chris u said “i guess yall mad at eminem to smh” now why would u be shakin ur head at black people gettin offendd with eminem usin the n word?… My point was that just because a white person chooses to embrace the hiphop culture, that does not justify them using the n word.. So in summary white people who may think it gives them a pass jarz me..

@meka i dont agree with black people usin the n word as a term of endearment.. But u askin black people to erradicate the use of the n word is like gettin people to address black people as brown people instead lol..

  34. I gotta say, I see the replies on here and they are pretty simple-minded…

IMO blacks say the ‘n-word’ to form a sort of brotherhood bond and they are being racist themselves by doing so, by excluding other races because of their color differences… racism is everywhere and just because it isn’t negative or degrading or condescending doesn’t mean it doesn’t prosper…oh ya blacks are as racist as whites, but the problem is too many people assume that racism is a negativity-degrading/insulting type of deal when really it is just about judging someone solely on their race… we are all equals, we are all humans, enough with the superficial emphasis on physical looks, we say the ideal that what matters on the inside is more important but who the fuck lives and believes it? …probably mostly ugly or fat people who realize that playing the superficial social games revolving around looks aren’t worth it because they are un-fulfilling, shallow, and ingenuine, but because they realize they can’t succeed at these type of games and they might as well initially pretend to possess integrity and compassion because it is the best ‘game’ or front to play for their situation… damn shame how society places so much importance on physical looks, can’t say I don’t love curvy women though

Meka said it best; “if black people want non-blacks to stop using the n-word, shouldn’t they stop as well/1st? the whole “lead by example” ideal? or are we still on some “this is my property,” no girls allowed type shit?”

  35. >@meka i dont agree with black people usin the n word as a term of endearment.. But u askin black people to erradicate the use of the n word is like gettin people to address black people as brown people instead lol..>

you just defeated your own argument. if you don’t agree w/blacks using the word of endearment yet feel u can’t do anything to get them to stop using it, why be up in arms if non-blacks use it? perhaps if you put the energy from trying to get non-blacks to stop saying it towards getting blacks to stop saying it, perhaps this age-old and annoying topic wouldn’t exist.

side note: i have a deep disdain for people who use the word “racist” like it’s the new “swagger.” cats need to read a dictionary sometimes.

  36. Stop being so damn sensitive. He said it. Now what? Kill him when you see him? Oh please. CHILL

  37. @ veraci0us

what i was tryin to say was that Kid Rock is white sayin it and doesnt get a pass. Eminem is white, has said it and is sayin it but gets a pass. i never heard anybody bein mad at Em sayin it. thats why i put the SMH cuz people hittin Kid Rock wit it when Em should get hit too. thats all i was sayin.

  38. oh i got sumthin else that i just remembered…mexicans are usin the n word like its a regular word. like its theirs or sumthin.

  39. meka ur arguement is flawed..my name aint obama.. I cant force other black people to not use the n word, all i can do is make the people within my circle aware that i dont want them to use the n word when addressin myself… And theres aways gonna be ignorant people no matter what ugetme..

@ chris cool cool, but i wil say that there wer people who was upset about the eminem n word..

  40. sidenote. someone tell khaled to stop using it like its his middle name too.

  41. theres a difference between “ni66a” and the word “ni66er”
    . kid rock said “ni66a”

  42. Honestly this is an argument that just keeps going in circles.. Everyone has valid points but in the end NO ONE is right or wrong.. Truth is it is a demeaning word whether its being used by blacks or whites.. The history behind the word is terrible it doesnt matter how much u say that the meaning of the word has changed because the history will never change.. But like I said nobody is right or wrong… too many valid points, all we can do is accept it or ignore it and move the fuck on

  43. you know kid rock’s baby moms is black right?

  44. is Khaled white???

  45. ^^^ Only on the inside…

only comment worth reading so far. Other than varaci0us telling Khal”i”d to stfu full stop.

Kid Rock doesn’t care if you give him a pass or not, he’s gonna say it. It’s about individuals mentalities and no one trying, or caring, to change them. Or having the ability to really. Hip Hop hasn’t given it up, why would people who actually hate black people? Think about that.
I won’t even say that shit at a concert while I’m getting my Carlton on front row.

  49. Sheeeeeeiit (sorry, Wire DVDs got me goin)…just read what Meka wrote earlier. Feeling all proud and ish and it’s already been written…smh.

  50. YOUR A DICK HEAD! I white person never says the word “nigga” to talk in general they say it to be cool.

Let’s say this; if you are not in a gang, why would you call people certain gang names and throw certain gang signs of that gang if your not in the gang?! That would just be you following what you think is slang or popular words for you to use at that time.

1st of black people started saying nigga and not nigger.

We used the word as a way to empower back what we were once being degraded from. Now that the Hip-Hop community is damn near mainstream and also apart of pop culture now that people who hear it more who are white think it’s cool and it’s just slang.

Being called that word ina degrading way and reversing the meaning to empower us in our music is the whole idea of the word. Not what you precieve as sayin “nigger”! It’s funny the word nigga has been used among the black community for decades with the same empowering idea behind.

Watch any old school 70’s black movie and that’s all you hear. So people like the Bill Cosby’s and Al Sharpton’s of the world were saying it with cause and not capturing the whole meaning behind it. They did what a non-black person or some white people do and define saying the word “nigga” as just relative slang. IT IS NOT RELATIVE SLANG! The problem some of may have realizing the confusion is that some people use the word in violent or drug related songs. These songs are sending their particular message about drugs or violence, the word “nigga” has nothing to do with what his talking about.

Yes we are all equals but in every culture on this planet there are things that a black person can’t do in other peoples particular culture. Just like an Asian/Russian/Argentinian person can’t do.

How is embracing your race with a word being racist? Explain that? Because you’re not black and can’t cross that line makes the black person racist.

So if we replaced the word “nigga” for my “black brother” would that be racist if you add it to your vocabulary in conversations if you are white or asian or any other race?

Lastly if you are or were a white person why would you even use a word that your kind used to degrade black people? Even if you do or don’t understand my definition of what the new word “nigga” means why would you even want to use it? Even if it was ok to say it why would you want to? Wouldn’t you think that it would be to close and would confuse a black person. So if your answer is you don’t want to use it in your vocab then why use it. Why does it seem people are so anxcious to use the word. Like I can’t wait to be cool and say “nigga” just like all the rappers!

If anything if I was white I wouldn’t have NO PROBLEM WITH NOT SAYING THE WORD “NIGGA” OR “NIGGER”! I WOULD NOTICE THAT THIS WORD IS “THEIR THING” I’d let them have their cultural commrotary.

    ^^^^^^^

Em said it in a hidden “lost tape “and almost got a bunch of people MAD across the country!!
And he doesn’t use the word in his rhymes… so NO he doesn’t get a pass! DO you even listen to Eminem? Name the last song you heard with him using it.

  52. ^^^

ummmm yeah i do lol. i got Eminem Show, Encore, and Curtain Call.

  53. And a lot of Spanish people get the pass for using the word because in the hood there are a lot of spanish people in the same struggle with us. So it rubbed off on them. I’m not saying it is right but there is a reason.

That being said when other races see that and the 1st thing that pops in their mind is “Hey wait his not black and he’s using the word” So a lot of people took it as the owrd is a “black community thing” it’s a “rapper slang thing”! Now I’m sure in the hood a lot of people growing up who didn’t know DJ Kaled probably thought he was spanish (being that the blacks seem to let spanish people say it in the hood). So most people growing up with him treated him as such.

Is it right?… of course it’s not right but this is the key reason why a lot of races look at the our music (Rap/Hip-Hop music) and see other races doing it so they then just follow suit. However, being that this isn’t a frequent discussion among people in America it is not described as an empowering word among black people to black people.

The word is falling more into the slang zone and not the definition it was intended for.

  54. ummmm yeah i do lol. i got Eminem Show, Encore, and Curtain Call.

    ^^^^^

So trhen you agree that he doesn’t say the word then.

  55. no i dont agree. he just dont say it out to the media/public. sum people have no problem wit him sayin it and sum people do have a problem wit him sayin it. its the same way wit me but i just dont say it. not in my vocabulary. i dont have proof that he says it behind the curtain but 9 times outta 10 he is cuz of who he hangs wit but just not to the media/public.

  56. I see what you’re saying. Maybe so, who knows. But I think whether Eminem says it or not, it doesn’t make it right.

Just like if Joe Smoo who is white saying it around his black friends and they saying ‘its cool for HIM (Joe Smoo) to say it cause he’s “down” or “real”!’

  59. i think black or white none of us should have a problem with it cuz we wernt there. the only people that should be talkin are the ones who were there. if luda aint got a problem with it, then fuck it !!!!
