This song could have probably ruined Jay-Z’s career if it had come out today. Instead, it dropped during a time where everybody was quasi’d out, and duke was able to power past this atrocity to become what he is now.

now i love hova, but i never understood how this cut was dramitically different from some other radio-friendly isht he’s put out there (bonnie and clyde and show me what you got i’m looking at you). and after singing wonderwall at glastonbury and crooning on saadiq’s oh girl, he could get mad play off sunshine if he made sure to autotune that piece up.

UH NO. Don’t lie to yourselves. This was the WORST Hova single ever. The video didn’t help either. Where do you think the “camel face” jokes came from? Do not try to redeem this song.
This is thee #1 worst Jay song ever this is the only hova song I truly hate and I can’t find one good thing to say about it

the video was atrocious but the song is alright. I can name at least 3 songs that were worse…hollywood, S. carter, that song from Kingdom Come wtih Usher, 03 Bonnie and Clyde
I would have to disagree with the statements this is the one of the worst. First of all, the beat is dope, very ol skool, very b-boy (which is one of the elements mind you!) in my opinion. Even though its commercial appeal, I thought it was dope … “Who be … In a Japanese restaurant eating sushi, drinking Sake” … dope in my opinion. I’d bump this no doubt. I been trying to get the instrumental since time!
This track was a hot single. This segment is dumb. The beat was dope and lyrically Jay was on point per usual. Half the tracks on Kingdom Come were worse than this.
The video, on the other hand, was atrocious.
