I’ll tell you this… if you haven’t seen The Roots live you’re fucking up as a person (same goes for GCH). Seriously, I’ve seen them atleast 5 times (twice in one night even) and I would see them 5 more times easily. Above you can catch them alongside Mos Def performing Rising Down. yea it was my first time seeing roots ever back when they played at the new hollywood palladium..they MURDERED it !!! and so did GCH!!!
i was at this show last night it was incredible!!!
im not a big fan of Gym Class Heroes and their show didnt really do much to change that. they dont make bad music just not my thing.
but the Roots were amazing! you cant even qualify that as simply a hip hop show its just straight up music at its finest! the things these guys do with those intruments is just amazing to see live.
and black thought just does an amazing job of bringing all that energy together and tearin up the mic. amazing show worth alot more then the 50 bucks i paid
roseland show was dope as fuck, the roots are the best live hip hop show period ….mos def and q tip showed a good look too
