Damn, it’s been a long time since I dropped one of these bad boys huh? Let’s jump right into it as there are a ton of joints to check. New music from Kardinal Offishall, Re-Up Gang, The Outlawz, Lil Wayne, Ali Vegas, Cory Gunz, Cassidy, etc. JoJo Pellegrino is out of control, Copywrite is patiently waiting, Maino wants that hood love, Novel gets lost with Coldplay, Big Lou feels stereotyped, Jay Rock speaks on his life, Raekwon & Kaze speak real shit, Dirtbag takes aim at Rick Ross & Plies, Large Pro gets hardcore with Marco Polo [II], Tim Williams & Travis McCoy speak on the girl by the bar and much more…

• Say Anything - Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too (rmx) f. Kyle Lucas
  My man Kyle puts his twist on Say Anything’s hit single. I know this might not hit everyone but for those who enjoy the original will love the remix. Kyle Lucas is Still My Favorite mixtape coming soon!
• Tokyo Police Club - The Baskervilles (Amplive Remix) f. Aesop Rock & Yak Ballz
  This track really deserves it’s own post, but I decided against it for whatever reason. Amplive puts together a crazy remix with Tokyo Police Club and grabs Aesop Rock & Yak Ballz for some dope guest appearances.
• The Wrist - Get Da Gutz f. RA the Ruggedman & Okwerdz (prod. Vanderslice)
  When you have RA the Ruggedman on a guest spot you better bring your A-game. That should be well known in this industry by now haha. Also features Okwerdz (if you aren’t aware, this dude can really freestyle his ass off!)
• Tim William - Girl by the Bar f. Travis McCoy
  The Gym Class Heroes’ frontman joins Tim William for a dedication to the girl by the bar.
• Tabi Bonney - Kick Rocks (prod. by Judah)
  Modi shot this over earlier and I meant to post it but never did. Tabi gets a little more aggressive on this Judah produced cut.
• Brooklyn Academy - The Roll Call f. Wordsworth
  BA have been holding down the indie scene for years now and Shake will always support their music. With them readying the release of the long awaited debut album, Bored of Education, they drop this new joint with Wordsworth (that won’t be on said album). The debut drops on September 2nd and features Jean Grae, Killah Priest, Keith Murray, Ill Bill, Black Milk, Marco Polo, Illmind and more!
• Ali Vegas - Pergatory Freestyle f. Evil Eye (prod. DJ Nice)
  DJ Nice just fired off this dope freestyle from Ali Vegas and Evil Eye that he produced. Be on the lookout for future DJ Nice x 2dopeboyz projects on the horizon.
• K-Young - Forget About What People Say (prod. Komplex)
  Treacherous’ crooner K-Young drops another dope joint with some Komplex production.
• 6th Sense - Sharp Dressed Man
  6th sent this shit soo long ago but the mp3 got lost in the shuffle haha. He goes in on this self produced joint though.
• Dirtbag - Hatin vs Pullin Cards (Rick Ross, Plies & DJ Khaled Diss)
  Dirtbag takes aim at Officer Ross, no record Plies & Meka’s favorite DJ. Rick Ross heard the record and supposedly said that it was on. We’ll see. Also, be on the lookout for a Dirtbag record featuring The Game coming soon!
• Cory Gunz & Cassidy - Body Bags
  Cory Gunz and Cassidy trade a few ruthless bars on this new joint. Recorded recently as you can hear from the Bernie Mac line. Shouts to Sermon.
• Freestyle (Arsonists) - Spread Your Wings
  The Arsonists’ emcee comes back with a new joint. Damn, it’s been awhile since I’ve heard from him.
• Re-Up Gang - Million Dollar Corner (prod. J. Cole)
  2db favorite J. Cole originally produced Million Dollar Corner for the new Re-Up Gang album, but they decided to go with that shit they used. What do you guys think? Should this have made the cut?
• JoJo Pellegrino - Out of Control
  Official single off JoJo’s upcoming project.
• King Magnetic - Patiently Waiting f. Copywrite
  King Mag has Copywrite join him on the Curtis x Eminem classic (yea, I said it). They both handle their own but it’s far too difficult to match the original. This is off King Mag’s latest mixtape (which I’ll drop sooner than later). Has some pretty dope features.
• Ransom - Hood Vision f. Tom Gist & Sleezo Bang) (prod. Geolani)
  Some more heat from Jersey’s Ransom featuring Sleezo Bang and Dipset’s Tom Gist.
• St. Laz & Geolani - Clap Song (prod. Casa One)
  I know there are more than a few people who respect Laz’ hustle and enjoy his music, so do just that… enjoy.
• Jay Rock - My Life f. Lil Wayne
  Jay Rock replaces The Game on his latest joint, keeping Lil Wayne on the hook. Shouts to DJ Ill Will as always!
• J the S - Burning the Flag f. Kool G Rap
  J the S (formally Jake the Snake) grabs the legendary KGR for a new banger.
• Ace Hood & Brisco - Can’t See Ya’ll
  The Best of Both Offices dropped this in the inbox today, new freestyle from Ace Hood & Brisco!
• Big Lou - Stereotyped (prod. ClamsCasino)
  Streetsweeper’s own comes with another banger off DJ Rhude’s Block Muzic 12.
• DJ Muggs & Planet Asia - God & Satan
  While the world awaits their upcoming collab album, Pain Language. DJ Muggs & Planet Asia are readying the release of a special pre-release mixtape. Yep!

  Wordsmith has been one of the most consistent emcees in the game these past few years. Dude continues to bang out dope tracks one after another. This is no different.

  New joint from Rhode Island’s own Jon Hope (who frequents 2db on the regular, dope!). Don’t sleep on this dude, he’s definitely got some spit to him.
• Kardinal Offishall - Bad Like We Bad
  YK hit me off with another new joint off the upcoming album and makes some false claim that he’s the only one looking for Kardi music. Shiiiiet, you already know how Shake (and Meka) feel about Not 4 Sale. This was originally on the Clinton Sparks tape but we finally get a Full/NoDJ version to bump!
• The Outlawz - Legendz
  Pac’s homeboys drop a new joint featuring Jay-Z and Lil Wayne samples. The track came as “featuring Hov & Weezy” but Shake doesn’t play that.
• Trey-C - Dope Boyz Flow
  I first posted a track from Trey-C when he grabbed G Malone & Ya Boy for a dope little posse cut. Now the Oakland emcee goes for solo over The Game’s ode to Shake & Meka. Be on the lookout for an upcoming Crooked I collaboration that is pure fiyaaaah!
• Vic Damone - Jockin’ Vic D (re-prod. Shatek)
  Shatek remakes Kanye’s beat so that Southside’s Vic Damone could jump on. Shouts to DJ On Point. What’s good with Mood Muzik 4 dude?
