The Notorious B.I.G. vs The Rolling Stones

Last post before I hit the couch (my bed for the past week). The good folks over at illRoots hit me with a link to this mash-up tape between Biggie Smalls and the Rolling Stones. Crazy Chris, Greedy Beatz, DJ Osk, Dub Floyd and OJ Loopz do a great job on this one. After two full spins I’m officially impressed.

    the album in it’s ORIGINAL, UNCENSORED form… and even tosses in a few NEVER BEFORE HEARD gems
    including an unreleased freestyle B.I.G. recorded for Pepsi.

  9. The mashups are awesome. I just wish it didnt have the unneccessary clips in it. Why not just have the actual songs..

  10. I only listened to it once, but I’m pretty disappointed. Poor song choices for the Biggie verses. It’s the same ones everyone picks for their Biggie blend tapes. They could’ve been more creative.

    There wasn’t enough of the Stones music or vocals. The majority was just clips from their interviews and when the music came in, the DJs fucked with it. The Biggie/Sinatra tape was 100x better than this. Something like that, or the Grey Album really blended the two together and this one just sounds like a Biggie blend tape over random beats with English guys doing interviews in between. The Stones should’ve been more prominent.
