i was in there. and charles was cool as shit. you know why? because while all the rest of the artists there were behind the stage, using their press passes to kick it and try and get some news buzz from the reporters, charles was POSTED in the crowd. right next to me. with his headphones around his head. and i was like, charles? and he was like, “there’s more music to come!” that’s all he said lol.
festival was wild. mickey factz, fresh daily, theo, krs, blu was killin’ em…everybody wrecked it. for real. the entire neighborhood packed into what could possibly be the best outdoor venue of all time. not a cloud in the sky.
