Memphis Bleek – What U Want

You can tell when I’m lazy/busy when I keep using the same image for every post revolving around that person. I’m hungry, I need Subway. Until then, here goes yet another new track from Memphis Bleek. Say what you want, dude’s grind is dope when he gets down. Be on the lookout for Bleek’s upcoming mixtape, Eat Off the Land. Shouts to Agent!

  1. Does busy mean more NaS?

  2. “this is just what you thought it was”

You’re right bleek. This was whack.

What I want is guys who are in no position to be talking about whats going on in the “hood” to stop talking about whats going on in the “hood” and their goons.

I mean, At least try to make it a concept album like AG (which was a brilliant album by the way). We all know 50 gonna be 50 so that’s whatever, and wayne does too many drugs so he probably thinks he’s still in the hood, so he’s got an excuse.

but all this other rick ross dealing weight better be talkin Jenny Craig. The Cool kids just talk about Jeeps and coca cola and gold ropes. that’s cool for a couple songs, but damn, now they’re just getting lazy. Was the action figures track an accident? Ray J likes to trick on them hoes. Usher wants to make love in the club. DMX is arrested every week.

Kanye makes some stupid shit, but at least most of the time he’s attempting a story or something positive or something relate-able. Nas is doin the most but Jay did the Kingdom Come grown up hip hop thing and was shunned away. Obie claimed he’s no gangster, just an average man and he’s dropped. Lupe is praised by kids who are still trying to figure out what “The Cool” is really about.

That’s a dilemma right there. Accept the praise for the wrong reasons or get ignored for the right ones. Sometimes this shit confuses me.

Man, if I didn’t love it, I’d hate hip-hop too.

  3. subway = shake’s crack.

  4. DREWDOWN your right, Action Figures was a tight track
