The Clipse – Fast Life (prod. Scott Storch)

Figured I’d post before I rolled out. Supposed lead single for The Re-Up Gang album. Scott Storch on the beat. I don’t know what I think about this record just yet. I’m used to that hard hitting gutter Clipse, not this. Maybe it will grow on me though. They still spit that O-flippin shit. Shouts to Blender for the drop.

  1. jail scott storch!

  2. I agree. Songs terrible. I don’t see how this could grow on anybody.

  3. Pusha kills his shit as usual, but yea this is a fluffy beat. I may need to hear it with a drink in my hand tho.

  4. its not as bad as these fags say it is

  5. this is horrible are you kidding me? i hate flashy scott storch beats they make me queezy like i drank expired milk.

  6. Co-sign FRISCO, this song really ain’t bad (IMHO). I like it, then again I’m a huge Clipse fan, but still, they had some songs like this on their last LP. It jus may take time for people to get use to them w/o Pharrell. This will be a hot single, but seeing how it’s gonna be on RE-UP, they shoulda put Liva and Sandman on it…

  7. scott storch has more money and talent then all you haters combined. this beats ill, the flows tight, n bitches can bounce to this shit… so quit hatin n try n do somethin better yall

  8. Pusha did his usual thing, crazy flow. The beat is cool, far from what I’d like to hear The Clipse’s hustle rap over, but it’s ok.

  9. Malice n’ Push kill with the rhymes but that beat sounds just like every ohter Scott Storch beat…. does he have any different drum patterns?? I like Clipse on that hard shit but I do think they could do a better commercial cut than this one.

  10. remember when the clipse didn’t want to go mainstream with their last record, and their label had a fit?
well it seems like they’re heading towards that direction. imo the clipse is the best rap group out right now and this is a step in the WRONG direction.
they need to stick with what got them to where they are: gritty ass, real songs…none of this club hop bullshit! (even though they did manage to lyrically kill this bitch beat, but thats usual)

  11. Wasn’t that bad. They brought the heat, the beat is just not something I’d prefer tem to be on. Hopefully it’ll get em some club spins. As long as they bring it lyrically everytime I can’t complain

  12. This is 50x better than most standard club bangers
“..it’s the almighty duo, u know, critically acclaimed, moving weight like a sumo..”

  13. Well…..their flow on this is pretty mean. Co-sign w/ Paul

  14. DIDNT you hear him say “Clipse 3 album title till the casket drops”
So how can it be a re-up gang albumn. Maybe its a new clipse album

  15. I got an e-mail from this DJ service sending me the record and the artist was titled “The Clipse Present: The Re-Up Gang” so most likely it is off the Re-Up joint.

    *Shameless plug*
