It’s so refreshing to hear a cd (that’s right. they still make those) that doesn’t go by that “gangster track, for the ladies track, two more gangster tracks, posse track,club banger, one more song for the ladies, a son either about life or their mother, and two 2 min & 15sec bullshit album filler.

All my skater friends (we all had em) would bump atmos and I hated that shit. It was to “emotional” for me…. like some cut my wrist punk shit. The day I admitted I enjoyed slug and ant, I never live it down!
Go listen to the newest sad clown bad spring 12 song, song 4 theres a song called happy mess. one of the illest song i’ve herd in a while and it was free…. dudes a talented but emo rapper. now that i’ve said my peace, i’m going to listen to some “i put on for my city” and hit the sheets.

ok so I am in a dire situation having made the move to Cali, d’loading most new albums via rapidshare. BUT, there were 2 albums I had to give credit to – where its due, The Roots – Rising Down & Atmosphere’s – When Life Gives You Lemons! After purchasing thru Amazon I am convinced the art is still alive after hearing full versions of these 2 gems!!! Hard work appreciated Shake!
i’ll stand by my statement. and i’m not following any mainstream lead with that either haha. i’m glad you picked up the roots and atmos. i have my hard copies for sure.
shake, this police brutality video needs to be addressed … how long are we to sit back and be observational police? no matter how much suspicion is evident, there is a limit to lethal enforcement. have you officers forgotten the charge -assault with a deadly weapon? dropkick boots by 12 officers? when do we draw the line?
