I really like Crooked I as a rapper. But Damn the shit really ain’t that serious. Niggas need to read a fuckin book before they start opposing her claims.

Alicia Keys’ comments were just unintelligent. It’s like she just read a book and thought she knew everything. People need to learn to critically analyze shit before they talk.
Alicia Key says she was misquoted and apologized what else to niggas want from her. We all know some of those magazine writers misquote mother fuckers all the time just to make a headline.
Crooked is a beast and has been one for well over a decade so nothing but respect goes out to him, but I think he has taken his Ms. Keys coments out of context like most people have.
The interpretation I got from Alicia was the government (sans all the corporate) entities had no problem helping propagate a certain genere of Hip Hop, which by default would lead to some detrimental problems throughout the community.
She didn’t say gangster rap was the devil.
She didn’t say she wishes it didn’t exist.
And to be honest if you put those two in the same room, they would prolly agree with each other 90% of the time.
