The Legendary Roots crew teams up with Rik Cordero (again) for their new video for Rising Up which features Wale and the lovely Chrisette Michele. This is such a needed joint in hip hop right now. The beginning is just great, the harmony, vocals… everything. The atmosphere in the video is perfect. I digs it. Cop that Rising Down next week!

  1. ahhhhhh I cannot wait till this drops.. Roots are one of the few artists that I actually go out and buy. Ever since I saw them opening for Pharcyde in 94, I’ve been hooked.
