I don’t understand the reason behind releasing this as the single. We all know the ladies will love this and it will increase waynes commercial appeal - which he has already admitted to wanting to do to get the $$$. But, it gives a false impression of weezy, his ability as a rapper and his overall swagger. He comes accross as a R&B singer as opposed to the hard rapper the real fans know him for. This stinks of the record company pushing for a hit regardless of whether it affects the album overall.

This statement will probably warrant some hate from the loyal fans of 2dopeboyz cause it seems there is a lot of hate for wayne over here. Some of it is fair, I mean he is not the greatest rapper alive, not even close. Not even top 10 but he does have charisma and he works his ass off. The amount of music he has put out in the last little while is crazy. He is admittedly high 95% of the time so I doubt anything he does is really well thought out, so he comes off sounding like an idiot in interviews and whatnot but i’m not really worried about his personal life and who he is as a person. I just care about the music. This song isn’t anything special lyrically and their is no message to decipher but it will definetly get major spin on the radio and the beat bangs. This is the official “gettin in head in the club” song. I don’t know how you can blame an artist for trying to get music played commercially, he wants Carter 3 to sell major units so he needs radio splins.
All in all I used to really like Wayne. Then I hated him and now I really take him for what he is. Not that great of an emcee but he has charisma and he is entertaining. Like come on, he’s 5″4 with long ass dreads and a weezy little voice. I don’t see how anyone could take him that seriously but he’s had a pretty fucked up life so I guess he’s just a product of his enviroment.

True that. There are tons of true MC’s who deserve their shine but the industry has changed and as unfortunate as it may be not everyone who deserves shine gets it. I don’t see how you can hold that against Wayne. I do understand though a lot of people really just find him annoying. I can’t really blame you for your opinon but I think a lot of the hate is unwarranted… just my opinion.

this is a good club song,good song for the chicks to like,but my personal preference this song just shows waynes slow decline. How you go from something good like carter 2 to mixtape after mixtape than dropping songs like this.
