It’s a half lie.
A lot of people just consider northern VA, DC, and the parts of MD that border DC to be one large collective area, seeing as how a lot of the citizens from those parts of VA and MD head into the district for the weekend or work there during the week anyway. And to my knowledge at some point he did live in DC, but now he’s out in PG county or something like that.
Technicalities.
A HALF lie. Some people dislike that he reps the district but I think that’s bullshit anyway. SO go ahead and say he’s from there, it’s damn near the same thing lol.
